Relief Society Broadcast

The Relief Society Broadcast was held last night.  It was an inspiration to all who saw it.  If you missed it, it's not too late.  You can watch it at home, just go to http://www.lds.org/broadcast/grsm/0,6220,285-1-41-1741,00.html and download the Conference.

Institute Study Group Starting Soon

Institute study group is starting officially next week (but will have an unofficial meeting this Thursday if it is raining).

We will meet at Renée Clark's home at 541 Salzburg Drive at 11:30 (or thereabouts) to discuss what we want to happen this upcoming year.

Starting October 1, we will be discussing Chapter 24 from the Church History Institute Manual (found at http://institute.lds.org/manuals/church-history-institute-student-manual/index.asp).

For ease of use the first meeting will be a true potluck (until we decide on a menu for the upcoming year)

We look forward to having a fulfilling year, and learning more about Church History.

Annual Relief Society Broadcast and Dinner

This Saturday we will be having our annual Stake Relief Society Broadcast and Dinner Event.  Like last year it will be a potluck soup and dessert event, followed by the General Relief Society Broadcast from Salt Lake City.

This is a great way for you to get together with your "sisters" and hear words from our Prophet and leaders.

Please be at the Stake Centre by 6:00 pm to eat, and 8:00 pm to see the broadcast.
